NewsletterSpring Term w/c 29th January 2024

~ January 2024 ~

Mrs Ryan and Mrs Marshall are continuing to cover Mrs Adams’ role in her absence, whilst she recovers following an operation.

Last week, we welcomed Mrs Farnsworth back from maternity, who will soon return to her role as a part-time teacher in Beech class, sharing with Mrs Dodd.

As many of you know, we were sad to say goodbye to Lisa Williams, our School Business Manager. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Mrs Williams for her dedication to the school and her role. We wish her lots of luck in her new role. Last week, we interviewed for a new School Business Manager and are pleased to confirm we have appointed someone from a strong field, who will start soon after half term. We will share more details once they are confirmed.

Our next family dining date is Friday 9th February, which you should have received a separate email about. The deadline for ordering a meal is 12.30pm on Thursday 1st February. The cost is £2.70 and the food choices are ‘Sticky Chicken Noodles’ or ‘Sweet and Sour Vegetable Noodles’.

Due to it being a whole school dining event, places are limited to 1 adult per child. This is something we are reviewing, along with the day of the week for the next one, to ensure as many families as possible have the opportunity to join in.

Arrival time on the day as follows :-

Reception Parents - 11.25am

Year One Parents - 11.55am

Year Two Parents - 12.25pm

As of Monday, this week, our school attendance for this academic year is 95.7%, which is higher than the national average of 94.4%.

Maple – 98%

Willow – 97%
