Due to continuing roofing work, we are unable to offer any holiday clubs this half term. Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to stop offering holiday clubs moving forward, as there is not enough demand to make it financially viable. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Axten, Miss Wallis and the rest of the RMC team for all their work in planning, preparing and delivering previous holiday clubs. We will, of course, continue to offer our before and after school wrap around care at Robert Miles Club (7.30am-6pm). If you are interested in booking a session, please contact the school office.
Please see details of some Holiday Clubs you can book onto as an alternative. You don't have to attend the school to go to the club. Please follow this link for more information: https://rattleandrollperformance.com/classes/book
On Wednesday 4th December 2024, we will be visited by Nottinghamshire's School Immunisation team, to give the flu vaccination to all pupils with a valid consent form. The free flu vaccination is eligible to children from Reception (FS2) up to and including Year 11. It is usually given as a quick and painless nasal spray in each nostril.
Consent forms have been distributed via email. Please contact the school office if you have not received one.
Please follow this link for more information from the NHS.
We have also been asked to share the information leaflet below:

If this is something you are interested in supporting, one of our parents has created a local community group for Robert Miles Infants: https://chat.whatsapp.com/CCg7Q2UtzqGJpLmnrAzDxW
Last week, your child should have brought home a letter with information about the parents' evenings taking place on:
Monday 4th November - Elm and Maple Classes
Wednesday 6th November - Hazel, Pine and Willow Classes
The reply slips were due in by Monday 14th October. If you haven't already done so, please return the reply slip as soon as possible. If you are unable to make the dates given, please arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with your child's class teacher.
You will receive a slip back to confirm your appointment day and time on Thursday 24th October.
Thank you
We are hoping to set up a group of parents who work together to support the school to make it the best it can be for the children. This may be by supporting with school events or organising fundraising activities to raise money for resources for the school that it would otherwise not be able to afford.
If this is something you are interested in, please visit the school office or send an email to office@rmischool.co.uk
Please note: This was previously shared via Tapestry on 11th September.
