School Closure - Covid-19

Tonight's Announcement 04.01.2021 Covid-19 School closures & provisions for Key Worker Children. (Whole School - 04/01/2021)

As ever we hear the Government announcement's on the television with no prior warning. You will have heard that from tomorrow school will be closed to most pupils and only open to key worker children and vulnerable children. In the letter I sent today I included the link to book keyworker provision www.rmischool.co.uk/keyworker

As you can appreciate we are trying to keep up with the ever changing situation and will need to organise our new 'bubbles'. For this reason we ask that if you are a keyworker you only send your child to school tomorrow if you have no other choice so that we can keep the number of children on site to a minimum. You can then book key worker places from Wednesday. Even if you are a keyworker the Government advice is for people to stay at home, so please only send your child to school if you have no other option.

If you do have to send your child to school tomorrow please arrive between 8.45-9.00 am and I will direct the children as to which classrooms to go to. Pick up time will be communicated during the day but will be somewhere around 3.15pm.

If you usually use KoolKidz you can only access the provision from tomorrow if you are a keyworker/vulnerable to keep the numbers to a minimum.

We will be posting work on Tapestry, but tomorrow we will be organising things, so proper provision will start on Wednesday.

If you usually receive free school meals we will be in touch with you to let you know the plans, as soon as the Department for Education decide to send schools some information.
